Subframe Collars

Stock subframe bushings develop slop over the years due to static deformation of the rubber from the constant weight exerted on the bushings. SPL Subframe Collars take up the gap between the chassis and the deformed subframe bushings to eliminate that slop and restore the performance of your suspension and reduce wheel hop.

SPLs 8 piece CNC machined aluminum collars install above and below the bushings to retain the stock suspension geometry. Top collars are slotted to allow for installation of the collars without having to drop the subframe.

NOTE: SPL Subframe Collars install with stock subframe bushings only. For proper performance, the stock bushings should still be intact (ie. not torn or leaking), otherwise the subframe collars cannot prevent excessive movement of the subframe. If your stock bushings are torn or leaking, then the subframe bushings should be replaced (for example, with our solid subframe bushings).
