SSBC A186-1 Disc Brake Caliper

Want to lighten up your vehicle's front-end, to reduce unsprung weight and improve handling and braking? Upgrade your heavy, tired old OE disc brake system with one of Stainless Steel Brakes' Quick Change caliper upgrade kits. They're direct bolt-on replacements, featuring lightweight Force 10 two-piston, aircraft-quality aluminum calipers, for a significant unsprung weight reduction and up to 30 percent more clamping force. These calipers are fitted with corrosion-resistant stainless steel pistons and come complete with high-performance pads. Mounting hardware is included.

Quick change SuperTwin TK 2-piston calipers and high performance pads must be used with stock size rotors. All hardware is included. The calipers come with clear anodize finish. Optional polishing or powder-coating is available. Includes SuperTwin TK 2-piston aluminum calipers and high performance pads.

I was only shipped 1 of the 4 bolts needed to assemble the extension on the unit. Had to scrounge the shop to find more bolts. Assembling the unit in that small space was quite the chore. Although a few negatives, I do have to say I am super impressed with the unit!! Very heavy duty and I now feel very safe in leaving valuables in my truck as long as they are locked up in this!! Very well made!!
