Safe-Quip was formed in 1987 to build high quality, but affordable, safety equipment in Irmo, South Carolina. Safe-Quip had been owned and operated by Tim Lee since 1995.</p> <p>In 2006, both brands were purchased by Vesta Motorsports <span class="caps">USA</span>, Inc. led by longtime motorsports entrepreneur Patrick Utt. Experience is vital in the racing safety industry, so we&rsquo;ve retained some of the best and brightest people to design, produce, and market our products. The marriage of these two great safety equipment brands provides a wide range of products from entry-level price point items all the way up to our premium products that are made in the <span class="caps">USA</span>.</p> <p>As we go forward we will identified as RaceQuip. Racers worldwide can now look to the RaceQuip name for all their motorsports safety needs. The RaceQuip Pro-1 series single-layer suit is made from Pyrovatex FRC material. Pyrovatex offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability and comfort for the price. This FRC material retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers to create a bond at the molecular level.

With proper care, the garment will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment. All suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes. The red accents: high-back collar, leg cuffs, epaulets give the suits a unique look and style. Add to this the pleated back panel for freedom of movement, deep bag pockets and you have a single layer suit that provides an outstanding value. Designed with younger drivers in mind who race NHRA Jr. Dragsters, Quarter Midget and other types of competition series that require an SFI Certified driving suit.

Exceeds SFI 3.2A/1 specs with a TPP rating of 11.

They are going to charge me a restocking fee of 15% Even when my product did not fall under their conditions. This is crap. False advertisement. I was ok with paying all the extra shipping fees which will be about the amount of the product when it was all said and done. So mad don't think I'm gonna mess with this company anymore. They don't practice what they preach. Beware :(<br>3/20/2012<br>OK, Update number 3.<br>Received E-mail today saying that Autoplicity would now Not Charge Me a 15% restocking fee and they were sorry for the inconvenience.
