COMP Cams 42140517601 Hi-Tech Chromoly Pushrod 5/16 in. Diameter

The COMP Cams 42140517601 is a Hi-Tech series performance pushrod engineered for hardcore street performance and race engine applications. Built from one-piece, seamless chromoly tubing, this pushrod delivers exceptional strength and rigidity to maintain precise valve train geometry under demanding operating conditions.

Key Features:

• One-piece seamless chromoly construction — .080" wall tubing for maximum strength and durability
• 5/16" diameter — engineered to match valve train frequency for optimal performance across the RPM range
• Precision-formed ends — added material thickness at the critical tip area maintains constant wall thickness and concentricity
• Cryo-treated — ensures compatibility with guide plates and maximizes hardness and wear resistance
• OD-ground finish — ensures consistent diameter for precise fit and function
• Black oxide coating — provides corrosion resistance and a clean, professional appearance
• Laser-etched identification — length and part number etched directly on the OD for easy identification during assembly

COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are available individually or in sets of 16, making them a flexible solution for single-cylinder builds or complete engine builds. Proper pushrod length is critical to rocker arm geometry — COMP Cams recommends verifying the correct length for your specific engine configuration using a pushrod length checker prior to ordering.
