COMP Cams 42030508001 Hi-Tech Chromoly Pushrod Set 3/8" Diameter

The COMP Cams 42030508001 is a Hi-Tech performance pushrod set engineered for high-output street and race engine applications. Built from seamless chromemoly tubing with an .080" wall thickness and 3/8" diameter, these pushrods deliver the rigidity and precision required by serious performance builds.

COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are designed with the understanding that pushrod frequency must complement the entire valvetrain system and the RPM range of the engine. A pushrod that simply resists bending is not enough — proper harmonic matching across all valvetrain components is critical for consistent, high-RPM performance.

Key Features:

• One-piece seamless chromemoly construction — .080" wall tubing for maximum strength and durability
• 3/8" diameter — provides increased rigidity over standard 5/16" pushrods for high-spring-pressure applications
• Precision-formed ends — added thickness in the critical tip area maintains constant wall thickness and concentricity
• Heat-treated — ensures compatibility with guide plates and maximizes overall strength
• OD-ground finish — ensures dimensional consistency across the full set
• Black oxide finish with laser-etched length and part number on OD for easy identification
• Sold as a set

COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are the go-to choice for hardcore street performance and all-out race engine builds where valvetrain integrity at high RPM is non-negotiable.
