COMP Cams 42030502701 Hi-Tech Chromoly Pushrod Set 5/16" Diameter

The COMP Cams 42030502701 is a Hi-Tech series pushrod set engineered for high-performance and race engine applications. Built from seamless chromemoly tubing with a .080" wall thickness, these pushrods deliver exceptional rigidity and resistance to flex under high valve spring loads and aggressive cam profiles.

Key Features:

• One-piece seamless chromemoly construction — .080" wall tubing for maximum strength and durability
• 5/16" diameter — precision-matched for correct valvetrain geometry
• Heat-treated ends — precision formed tip areas provide added thickness and strength in the critical contact zone while maintaining constant wall thickness and concentricity
• Guide plate compatible — heat treatment ensures long-term compatibility with guide plates
• Black oxide finish — corrosion-resistant coating with laser-etched part number and length for easy identification

COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are designed with the understanding that pushrod frequency must match the rest of the valvetrain components and the engine's operating RPM range — not just be strong enough to avoid bending. This makes them the ideal choice for hardcore street performance builds, dedicated race engines, and any application using aggressive camshaft profiles with elevated valve spring pressures.
