COMP Cams 42030513901 Hi-Tech Chromoly Pushrod 5/16 in. Diameter 8.390 in. Length

The COMP Cams 42030513901 is a Hi-Tech series chromoly pushrod engineered for hardcore street performance and high-RPM race engine applications. Designed where valvetrain stability is critical, this pushrod delivers the rigidity and precision needed to keep up with aggressive camshaft profiles and elevated engine speeds.

COMP Cams engineers developed the Hi-Tech pushrod line around the concept that pushrod frequency must be matched to the entire valvetrain system and the RPM range of the engine — not simply built strong enough to avoid failure. The result is a pushrod optimized for both strength and harmonic compatibility.

Key Features:

• One-piece seamless chromoly construction from .080" wall tubing for maximum strength and durability
• 5/16 in. diameter with precision OD-ground finish for consistent sizing and guide plate compatibility
• 8.390 in. length for proper valvetrain geometry in supported applications
• Precision-formed ends with added thickness in the critical tip area, maintaining constant wall thickness and concentricity
• Cryo-treated for enhanced hardness and guide plate compatibility
• Black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
• Laser-etched length and part number on OD for easy identification during installation

The COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrod series is the go-to choice for builders who demand precise valvetrain control in performance street and competition engines. Sold individually.
