Rancho RS9000XL 9-Position Manually Adjustable Struts

Rancho RS9000XL struts are globally recognized as the first 9-position manually adjustable ride control series in the off-road market, setting the benchmark for performance and versatility on both pavement and the trail. Engineered for trucks and SUVs, the RS9000XL series delivers the ultimate combination of on-road comfort and off-road capability in a single, driver-adjustable unit.

At the heart of the RS9000XL is a nine-position adjustment knob that allows drivers to dial in their preferred damping setting — from a plush, compliant ride on the highway to a firm, controlled setup for demanding off-road terrain or heavy towing. With up to a 400% change in damping force from Position 1 to Position 9, the RS9000XL adapts to virtually any driving condition without the need for tools or professional recalibration.

Key Features:

• 9-Position Manual Adjustment: Easy-to-use knob delivers nine distinct damping levels for complete, customizable ride control — no tools required
• Up to 400% Damping Range: Massive adjustment range transitions seamlessly from soft daily-driver comfort to firm off-road and towing performance
• Large Tri-Tube Body: Increased fluid capacity keeps operating temperatures lower for consistent, fade-resistant performance
• Heavy-Duty Nitro-Carburized Rod: Enhanced scuffing resistance and corrosion protection for long-lasting durability in harsh environments
• Graphite-Filled, Fluon-Banded Piston: Promotes smoother piston travel and greater responsiveness across all damping settings
• Nitrogen Gas Pressurization: Minimizes air-to-oil mixture to reduce damping fade and foaming under hard use
• Rebound Bumpers: Work in conjunction with the nitro-carburized rod to absorb harsh terrain impacts before they reach the cabin
• Polyurethane Bushings with Rod Boot: Enhance durability and performance while protecting the shock rod and oil seal from debris and contamination
• Liquid Metallic Finish: Long-lasting protective finish resists corrosion and maintains appearance over time

Every RS9000XL strut is engineered and manufactured in the United States and is backed by Rancho's 90-Day Free Ride Offer and a Limited Lifetime Warranty — a testament to the quality and confidence built into every unit. Whether you're navigating daily commutes, tackling rugged trails, or hauling heavy loads, the RS9000XL gives you the control and confidence to handle it all.
