Rancho RS999799 RS9000XL 9-Position Adjustable Shock Absorber

The Rancho RS999799 is part of the RS9000XL series — globally recognized as the first nine-position manually adjustable ride control series in the off-road market. Engineered for trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps used in on-road, off-road, towing, and hauling applications, this shock delivers a fully customizable ride experience in a single unit.

The RS9000XL's nine adjustment positions provide up to a 400% change in damping control from the softest to the firmest setting. Simply turn the easy-access knob to dial in the ideal ride: positions 1–3 deliver an OE-like feel, 4–6 provide a slightly firmer response, and 7–9 are optimized for towing and heavy loads.

Key Features:

• 9-Position Adjustable Damping — Manually tune compression and rebound for soft daily driving or firm off-road and towing performance
• Large Tri-Tube Body — 2.75-inch diameter body increases fluid capacity for cooler, more consistent operation under demanding conditions
• Nitrogen Gas Charged — Minimizes air-to-oil mixture to reduce damping fade and foaming
• Heavy-Duty 18mm Nitro-Carburized Piston Rod — Enhanced scuffing resistance and corrosion protection for long service life
• Graphite-Filled Fluon Banded Piston — Increases durability and smooths out ride harshness
• Polyurethane Rebound Bumpers and Bushings — Absorbs harsh terrain impacts and improves responsiveness to changing road surfaces
• Low-Friction Self-Lubricating Seal — Retains gas and oil for quicker rebound and smoother compression
• Premium Liquid Metallic Finish with Protective Boot — Long-lasting finish with polyvinyl boot to protect the shock rod and oil seal
• Engineered and Manufactured in the U.S. — Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty
