Product Details

The COMP Cams 8272-1 is a precision-engineered dual taper pushrod designed for high-performance engine builds requiring exact length and durability specifications. Measuring 7.750 inches in length with a 7/16-inch diameter, this pushrod features a robust .165-inch wall thickness for exceptional strength and rigidity under high-stress valve train operation.

Key Specifications:

  • Overall length: 7.750 inches
  • Diameter: 7/16 inch (0.4375")
  • Wall thickness: .165 inch for superior strength-to-weight ratio
  • Dual taper design for optimized contact with rocker arms and lifters
  • Constructed from high-quality chromoly steel with heat-treated ends
  • Precision manufactured to tight tolerances for proper valve train geometry

COMP Cams pushrods are engineered to maintain valve train stability at high RPM while minimizing deflection and flex. The dual taper configuration ensures proper seating at both the rocker arm and lifter cup interfaces, critical for consistent valve timing and reduced wear. This pushrod is ideal for custom engine builds, performance upgrades, or valve train replacements where precise length matching is essential.
