Product Details

COMP Cams Dual Taper Pushrods are performance engine push rods built for street performance and racing valvetrains. The dual taper design is larger in diameter at the center of the tube and narrower at the ends. This gives the pushrod strength and stiffness without adding unnecessary weight. They are also sold as valvetrain pushrods, tapered pushrods, or chromoly pushrods.

Key Features:

  • Dual taper design: a tapered tube for high strength and lightweight construction
  • Special steel alloy construction: chromoly material with heat treatment for durability
  • 210-degree tip radius: gives a larger load-bearing surface than a standard 180-degree radius. This suits rocker arms with cup-type adjusters and applications that need more contact area
  • Heavy-duty wall thickness: offered in wall thicknesses made to handle high-pressure valve springs
  • Guide plate compatible: suitable for use with pushrod guide plates
  • Easy identification: laser-etched length and part number on the pushrod
