Cusco Steel Drive Shaft Heat Shield

The Cusco Steel Drive Shaft Heat Shield (driveshaft heat shield) helps keep exhaust heat away from the drive shaft. Cusco designed it for hard driving, where heat from the exhaust can build up around the drive shaft.

During long periods of aggressive driving, such as track use, exhaust heat can warm the drive shaft. That heat can reduce the effectiveness of the grease inside and damage the inner joint. The shield reduces this heat transfer and helps the shaft last longer.

Key Features:

• Steel construction for durable heat protection
• Reduces heat transfer from the exhaust to the drive shaft
• Helps protect inner joint grease from high heat
• Bolt-on installation
• Made in Japan by Cusco, a performance parts maker known for drivetrain and chassis components

This line is made for drivers who want extra drivetrain protection during spirited road driving or motorsport use. Each part number in the line is made for a specific position, so choose the one that matches the side and axle location you need.
