Cusco 965 047 A Steel Drive Shaft Heat Shield Rear Left Side

The Cusco 965 047 A is a precision-engineered steel drive shaft heat shield designed to protect critical drivetrain components from excessive heat transfer. This rear left side heat shield mounts between the exhaust system and driveshaft to create a thermal barrier that prevents heat damage during aggressive driving conditions.

Key Features:

• Steel construction for superior heat resistance and durability
• Custom-formed design for precise fitment using factory mounting locations
• Reduces heat transfer from exhaust to drive shaft and CV joints
• Protects inner joint grease from degradation caused by exhaust heat
• Bolt-on installation with included stainless steel hardware
• Professional appearance that complements engine bay aesthetics

During extended periods of high-performance driving or racing, exhaust heat can penetrate the driveshaft and compromise the effectiveness of internal grease, potentially causing premature wear or failure of CV joints. This heat shield minimizes thermal transfer and significantly improves the durability and longevity of your drivetrain components. The shield is welded from high-quality steel material designed to withstand extreme temperature environments without cracking or warping.
