COMP Cams Valve Spring Shim Set

COMP Cams valve spring shims are precision-machined steel shims for adjusting valve spring installed height in performance and racing engines. Also called spring shims or valve spring height shims, they sit under the valve spring to fine-tune installed height and seat pressure during an engine build or spring upgrade.

Key Features:

• Compensate for production tolerances in cylinder heads, valve lengths, springs, retainers and locks, which can change installed height from valve to valve
• Hardened steel construction made for the loads of high-performance valvetrains
• Machined for a flat, consistent seating surface under the spring
• Offered in a range of diameters and thicknesses to suit different spring and cylinder head combinations
• Backed by COMP Cams, a leading name in performance camshafts and valvetrain components

Use COMP Cams spring shims to set the correct installed height and spring pressure. That helps keep valve control consistent and protects valvetrain components. Select the diameter and thickness that match your spring and head combination.
