Manley 11490B-8 Titanium Intake Valve Set 2.250" Head +.100" Length BBC

Featuring a 2.250" head diameter and a +.100" over-stock overall length, these valves are designed for builds where precise valvetrain geometry requires a longer-than-stock valve height. The Bead Loc® square keeper groove design ensures secure retainer retention under extreme rpm and load conditions.

Key Features:

• Head Diameter: 2.250"
• Stem Diameter: 0.3415"
• Overall Length: +.100" longer than stock height
• Keeper Groove: Square (Bead Loc® compatible)
• Material: Premium aerospace-grade titanium alloy
• Construction: One-piece forged with grain flow — no welded head-to-stem joint
• Finish: Micro-polished to eliminate stress risers and increase fatigue strength
• Machining: CNC-turned and stem-ground to exacting tolerances

Manley's titanium valves significantly reduce valvetrain reciprocating mass compared to stainless steel alternatives, enabling higher rev limits, improved throttle response, and compatibility with aggressive camshaft profiles. Each valve undergoes rigorous final inspection to ensure consistent performance and reliability in the most demanding race and high-performance street environments.

Note: This is a special-order, non-returnable item. Verify guide clearances prior to installation — Manley recommends all guides be checked and correctly sized for proper stem clearance.
