The COMP Cams 7228-1 is a single Race Street conical valve spring engineered with a revolutionary tapered design that delivers outstanding high-RPM stability, superior heat dissipation, and longer service life compared to traditional cylindrical or beehive springs. Sold individually, this spring is an ideal upgrade for street/strip performance builds using hydraulic roller and solid flat tappet camshafts.

The conical geometry naturally dampens spring harmonics, reducing the risk of valve float and extending component life under demanding conditions. Precision-formed from superior-quality spring steel, each spring is shot-peened and finished with a rust-preventative coating for long-lasting durability.
