Supertech Performance BMIVN-1040S Intake Valve Single Groove Stainless Steel

The Supertech Performance BMIVN-1040S is a high-performance intake valve engineered with a single groove retention design. Backed by over 20 years of manufacturing experience, Supertech works closely with professional engine builders to deliver continuous improvements in flow rate, durability, and overall quality.

Supertech understands that every engine has unique demands, which is why their valves are available in a range of materials to suit any application:

• Stainless Steel (EV8 / 21-4N Alloy): One-piece forged construction for superior strength and reliability. Supertech primarily uses EV8 (21-4N) alloy for intake and exhaust valves, with additional alloys and heat treatments available for specific applications.
• Inconel 751 Nickel-Base Alloy: Used in extreme-heat exhaust valve applications such as turbocharged or supercharged engines.

To combat the effects of high operating temperatures, Supertech applies two types of surface treatments:

• Chrome Coating: A widely used finish in performance valve applications, providing excellent surface hardness and wear resistance.
• Black Nitride Treatment: A surface-hardening process that produces a smoother finish than chrome, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity and performance.

Sold individually — per valve. Order the quantity that matches the number of valves required by your engine (e.g., order 16 for a 16-valve engine).
