Product Details

The COMP Cams GP970-1 is a single WKA-legal valve spring engineered for the Briggs & Stratton Animal engine competing in Stock Class karting applications. Sourced from COMP Cams' dedicated GoParts line, this spring is designed to meet the technical inspection requirements of sanctioning bodies including the World Karting Association (WKA).

Key Features:

  • WKA-legal for Animal Stock Class competition
  • Manufactured from chrome silicon spring steel wire for durability and consistent pressure
  • Engineered for lower-RPM Animal engine configurations including restrictor plate and Stock Class rules
  • Single spring sold individually — order two for a complete intake and exhaust set
  • Direct fitment for the Briggs & Stratton Animal OHV engine platform
  • Part of the COMP Cams GoParts line, purpose-built for karting applications

The GP970-1 is the ideal choice for racers looking to maintain legal compliance while ensuring reliable valve train performance in sanctioned Animal Stock Class events. COMP Cams' GoParts lineup is trusted by kart racers at all levels for consistent, race-ready quality.
