Supertech Performance brings over 20 years of manufacturing expertise to the HIVN-1030D engine valve, designed and refined through intensive testing and close collaboration with professional engine builders. The result is a high-flow, durable valve engineered to meet the demands of both performance street and competition applications.

Construction & Materials:

  • One-Piece Forged Stainless Steel — Primarily manufactured from EV8 (21-4N) alloy for superior strength and reliability in intake and exhaust applications. Additional alloys with specialized heat treatments are available for specific engine requirements.
  • Inconel 751 Nickel-Base Alloy — Used for exhaust valves in high-heat environments such as turbocharged and supercharged engines, where standard stainless steel alloys are insufficient.

Protective Coatings:

  • Chrome Coating — A widely adopted surface treatment in performance valve applications, providing enhanced hardness and wear resistance.
  • Black Nitride Treatment — A hardening process that produces a smoother surface finish than chrome, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity and performance.
