Product Details

The Supertech Performance HIVN-1012 is a Black Nitrided intake valve engineered for high-performance and racing engine applications. Manufactured from premium EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel, this valve is forged as a single piece for maximum structural integrity, dimensional accuracy, and long-term reliability under demanding conditions.

Valve Specifications:

  • Valve Type: Intake
  • Head Diameter: 30.00mm (Standard) — Dished Face
  • Stem Diameter: 5.48mm
  • Overall Length: 118.50mm
  • Groove Type: Single Groove
  • Material: Stainless Steel 21-4N (EV8)
  • Finish: Black Nitride

Black Nitride Finish Advantages:

  • Microhardness exceeds the base stainless steel material (800HV minimum), while maintaining good ductility beneath the hardened layer
  • Smoother surface finish than chrome-coated stems, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide
  • Treatment bonds at the microscopic level — will not flake or crack under valve-to-piston impact events
  • Applied to the entire valve, not just the stem, for comprehensive protection

Construction & Quality:

  • One-piece forged design for superior strength and fatigue resistance
  • CNC finished to strict tolerances for consistent fit and flow characteristics
  • Purpose-engineered for high-flow performance with durability as a primary design goal
  • Backed by over 20 years of valve manufacturing expertise and continuous development in collaboration with professional engine builders

Sold individually — order the quantity equal to the number of intake valves required for your engine build.

Professional, expedient. Thank you!

Delivered by USPS. They are typically 2-3 days slower than Fed-Ex and UPS. Arrived quickly and at the same rate as the two private carriers. - Thanks

Searching and product listings could be a bit easier to follow along with and cleaner. That is my only complaint.

Product was as described, shipping was fast, and communication was excellent. Plus I saved $$. Thanks Autoplicity! I'll be a repeat buyer and referral source.

This was my first order with Autoplicity. I was pleasantly surprised when my order showed up quickly and was exactly what I wanted. I will be buying from this company again. Thanks for the quick service and fair pricing.

I ordered a Thule 9002 Raceway Bike Carrier on Sunday, April 8 and received the product by Fedex on Wednesday, April 11 with just regular shipping. That is fast service. And the price was $43 cheaper than any other site on the internet (including shipping). I haven't had a chance to use the bike carrier yet but it appears to be new and as advertised with no issues as of this writing. I would definitely recommend this retailer for your next purchase.
