Material Options & Construction:

• Stainless Steel (EV8 / 21-4N Alloy): One-piece forged construction for superior strength and reliability. Supertech primarily uses EV8 (21-4N) stainless alloy for both intake and exhaust valves, with additional alloy grades and heat treatment options available for specific application requirements.
• Inconel 751 Nickel-Base Alloy: Designed for exhaust valves operating under extreme heat conditions, including turbocharged and supercharged engines where standard alloys may be insufficient.

Protective Coatings:

• Chrome Coating: A proven, widely-used treatment for performance valves that enhances surface hardness and wear resistance.
• Black Nitride Coating: A surface hardening treatment that produces a smoother finish than chrome, reducing friction between the valve stem and guide for improved longevity and performance.
