Product Details

The Supertech Performance HIVN-1008 is a Black Nitrided stainless steel intake valve machined to a +1mm oversize head diameter of 36.00mm, with a stem diameter of 5.48mm and an overall length of 106.85mm. Engineered for high-performance and racing applications, this intake valve delivers superior flow, durability, and precision fitment.

Construction & Material:

 • One-piece forged stainless steel construction for maximum strength and long-term reliability
 • Manufactured from EV8 (21-4N) stainless alloy — an industry-standard high-temperature exhaust/intake valve steel
 • Black Nitride surface treatment provides a harder, smoother finish compared to chrome-plated valves, reducing friction between valve stem and guide for improved longevity and performance

Key Specifications:

 • Head Diameter: 36.00mm (+1mm oversize)
 • Stem Diameter: 5.48mm
 • Overall Length: 106.85mm
 • Valve Type: Intake
 • Finish: Black Nitrided

Why Black Nitride? Unlike traditional chrome coatings, the black nitride hardening process penetrates the valve surface rather than adding a layer on top. This results in a smoother stem finish that reduces guide wear and friction, especially important in high-RPM and boosted applications.

Supertech Performance valves are developed in close collaboration with professional engine builders and validated through rigorous testing to ensure consistent quality. Sold individually — per valve. Order the quantity equal to the number of intake valves your engine requires.

You seem to have the best price and your pictures help a lot. HOWEVER -- no place did my order say "Mercury Grand Marquis 2003 *Passenger Side* Glass -- and that has me concerned because I have to go by make/model/yr and then picture alone!

Great Price!!
Fast Shipping!!
Would definitely use again....

So far great product at a great price

Great deals at unbeatable prices!

Great prices, reasonable shipping costs. Shipped within 3 days of order. Didn't receive discount for valid coupon code (25OffShipping). No response to 2 emails. No indication of expected delivery date. Lots of unknowns but you can't beat the pricing.

This was my first order with Autoplicity. I was pleasantly surprised when my order showed up quickly and was exactly what I wanted. I will be buying from this company again. Thanks for the quick service and fair pricing.

I ordered a Thule 9002 Raceway Bike Carrier on Sunday, April 8 and received the product by Fedex on Wednesday, April 11 with just regular shipping. That is fast service. And the price was $43 cheaper than any other site on the internet (including shipping). I haven't had a chance to use the bike carrier yet but it appears to be new and as advertised with no issues as of this writing. I would definitely recommend this retailer for your next purchase.
