Product Details

The ARP 190-4306 cylinder head stud kit is specifically engineered for Pontiac 400-455 cubic inch V8 engines equipped with Edelbrock D-Port cylinder heads. ARP head studs provide superior clamping force and reliability compared to standard head bolts, making them ideal for high-performance and racing applications where cylinder head gasket sealing is critical.

Key Features:

  • Custom designed for Pontiac 400-455 engines with Edelbrock D-Port heads
  • Manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel for exceptional strength
  • Heat-treated to 190,000 PSI tensile strength rating
  • Precision rolled threads provide more accurate torque loading and improved fatigue resistance
  • Black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
  • Includes hardened parallel-ground washers and ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant
  • Allows for more uniform and higher clamping loads than OEM bolts

ARP head studs are the professional's choice for securing cylinder heads in high-output engines. The stud design eliminates the torsional load present with head bolts, ensuring more accurate and consistent clamping force across the head gasket surface. This kit includes all necessary studs, washers, and nuts required for installation.
