Product Details

Designed to handle up to .450" of valve lift, these springs deliver the precise tension and durability demanded by competitive engine builders.

Wound from chrome silicon spring steel wire, the GP960 dual springs provide consistent seat pressure and superior fatigue resistance over sustained racing use. They are compatible with a wide range of small block engines and work with both aluminum and titanium dual spring retainers (sold separately).

Key Features:

  • Supports up to .450" valve lift
  • Manufactured from chrome silicon spring steel wire for high-cycle durability
  • Popular for modified 5hp Briggs & Stratton "L" Type flathead engines
  • Compatible with Briggs Animal and similar small block racing engines
  • Works with aluminum and titanium dual spring retainers
  • Part of the COMP Cams GoParts lineup for small engine performance

The GP960-2 springs are a trusted choice among go-kart racers and small engine builders looking for a reliable performance upgrade over stock valve springs. Compatible retainer sets include the GP759-2 dual spring retainers and GP750-2 locks, available separately.
