Product Details

The Manley 42446-16 Pro Series Valve Spring Locators are precision-engineered components designed to protect expensive aluminum cylinder heads from being galled by high-pressure valve springs. These locators maintain proper valve spring alignment and prevent spring wear into the head surface.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from heat-treated 8620 steel for exceptional durability
  • Black oxide finish provides corrosion resistance and professional appearance
  • CNC machined to tight tolerances of +/- 0.002 inches for precise fitment
  • Inside locating shoulder design for optimal spring positioning
  • Set of 16 locators provides complete coverage for V8 applications

Specifications:

  • Locator outside diameter: 1.410 inches
  • Locator inside diameter: 0.567 inches
  • Locator thickness: 0.062 inches
  • Fits 1.400 inch outer spring diameter
  • Wall shoulder height: 0.163 inches
