COMP Cams 42140518501 Hi-Tech Chromoly Pushrod Set 5/16 in. Diameter 8.500 in. Length

Engineered for hardcore street performance and demanding race applications, these pushrods are built to maintain precise valvetrain geometry under the stress of aggressive cam profiles and elevated valve spring pressures.

Key Features:

• Seamless chromoly construction — one-piece design from premium-grade chromemoly steel tubing for maximum rigidity and durability
• Heat-treated for compatibility with guide plates and to deliver long-term strength under sustained high-RPM operation
• Precision-formed ends — added material thickness in the critical tip area ensures strength while maintaining consistent wall thickness and concentricity
• OD-ground for dimensional consistency across the entire set
• Black oxide finish with length and part number laser-etched on the OD for quick, accurate identification
• 5/16 in. diameter — ideal for high-winding applications requiring a stiff, lightweight pushrod
• 8.500 in. length — verify fitment using a COMP Cams pushrod length checker before installation

COMP Cams Hi-Tech pushrods are engineered with the understanding that pushrod frequency must match the rest of the valvetrain components and the RPM range of the engine. The result is a pushrod that resists flex, harmonics, and fatigue in performance builds where stock pushrods simply cannot keep up.
