COMP Cams 42-140-5-16-3-01 Hi-Tech 5/16" Diameter Pushrod

The COMP Cams Hi-Tech Pushrod Set (PN: 42-140-5-16-3-01) delivers race-proven valve train performance in a 5/16" diameter, set-of-16 configuration. Engineered for today's high-revving, high-demand engines, these pushrods are a critical upgrade for serious street performance and all-out racing builds.

COMP Cams engineers have established that pushrod frequency must align with all other valve train components and the engine's operating RPM range — not simply be strong enough to avoid failure. Hi-Tech Pushrods are designed around this principle, ensuring optimal valve train harmonics and reliability under extreme load.

Key Features:

• One-piece seamless chromemoly construction — .080" wall tubing for maximum strength and durability
• Precision-formed ends — added thickness in the critical tip area maintains constant wall thickness and concentricity
• Heat-treated (cryo-treated) for guide plate compatibility and maximum structural integrity
• OD-ground for consistency across the entire set
• Black oxide finish with part number and length laser-etched on the OD for easy identification
• 5/16" diameter — ideal for a wide range of performance engine applications

COMP Cams uses a .140" gauge diameter measurement standard for all Hi-Tech pushrods, ensuring accurate length verification with their pushrod length checking tools. These pushrods are the go-to choice for builders demanding precision valve train geometry in high-performance and race engine applications.
