COMP Cams 42-030-5-16 Hi-Tech 7.100" Chromoly Pushrod

The COMP Cams Hi-Tech 7.100" Pushrod Set (42-030-5-16) delivers race-proven strength and precision for high-performance valvetrain applications. Engineered from seamless chromoly steel tubing, these pushrods are built to handle the demands of aggressive cam profiles and high valve spring pressures where ordinary pushrods fall short.

The pushrod is one of the most critical components in the valvetrain — it must not only resist bending and tip wear, but also match the harmonic frequency of the entire valvetrain assembly at operating RPM. COMP Cams Hi-Tech Pushrods are engineered to meet that standard with a one-piece .080" wall seamless chromoly construction that delivers maximum rigidity and durability.

Key Features:

• Length: 7.100 inches overall (intake and exhaust)
• Diameter: 5/16 inch tube diameter
• Wall Thickness: .080 inch seamless chromoly construction
• Tip Style: Ball/Ball ends (top and bottom)
• Finish: Black oxide coating for corrosion resistance
• Precision-formed ends with added thickness in the critical tip area for strength and concentricity
• Heat-treated for maximum strength and guide plate compatibility
• Laser-etched with part number and length for easy identification

Compatible with guide plates and suitable for hardcore street performance and race engine builds. These pushrods pair well with COMP Cams camshafts, lifters, and rocker arm systems for a complete valvetrain upgrade.
