Supertech Performance MAIVN-2304D-6MM-8 Black Nitrided Intake Valves +1mm Oversize

These valves feature a 36.00mm head diameter (+1mm oversize), 5.48mm stem diameter, and 103.40mm overall length with a dish face design. Engineered specifically for Ford and Mazda Duratec 2.0L and 2.3L engines, these valves are ideal for performance builds and racing applications.

Key Features:

• Black nitride coating with dish face, undercut, and backcut design
• Stainless steel 21-4N material with single groove design
• Valve tip hardened beyond 52HRc for enhanced durability
• Stem superfinishing reduces surface roughness to 1/3 of chrome coated valves when combined with black nitride treatment
• Microhardness of 800HV minimum with smoother surface finish than chromed stems for less friction
• Harder valve seat surface for longer life with lead-free fuels, alcohols, and high-performance fuel mixtures

Supertech combines over 30 years of experience with state-of-the-art equipment including ultrasonic tests, x-rays, laser measurement, and computerized Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to produce valves with strict dimensional tolerances. The black nitride layer reduces power loss by minimizing valve-guide friction, especially beneficial in high-RPM applications.

Note: This valve will fit Mazdaspeed 3 and Mazdaspeed 6 models only when used with upgraded Supertech valve guides and seals.
