Supertech Performance VWIVN-1034-10 Black Nitrided Intake Valves for VW 2.0L 16V

These precision-engineered valves feature a 32.00mm head diameter, 6.95mm stem diameter, and 95.50mm overall length in standard size. Each valve is manufactured from one-piece forged stainless steel, primarily using EV8 (21-4N) alloy, ensuring exceptional strength and durability for high-performance applications.

Key Features:

• One-piece forged stainless steel construction for maximum strength and reliability
• Black nitride coating provides superior surface hardness (800HV minimum microhardness) and smoother finish than chrome-coated valves
• Dish-style valve face design for optimized flow characteristics
• Undercut and backcut valve stems for improved airflow and reduced weight
• Special heat treatment process ensures optimal hardness for each application
• Reduced friction between valve stem and guide compared to chrome coating
• Black nitride layer adheres at microscopic level and won't flake or chip
• Full valve coverage with black nitride (unlike chrome which only coats the stem)

Supertech leverages over 20 years of manufacturing experience and continuous testing with engine builders to produce valves with exceptional high-flow performance, durability, and fatigue resistance. The black nitride treatment is especially popular in European and Japanese performance motors, providing reduced internal friction for high-RPM applications.
