The Manley 221434-1 NexTek Single Beehive Valve Spring is a high-performance, single conical ovate wire valve spring engineered for purpose-built performance and racing engines. With a 1.126 in. bottom outer diameter tapering to a 1.016 in. top, this lightweight beehive design allows the engine to rev higher and faster compared to traditional cylindrical springs.

Manufactured from super-clean, high-tensile chrome silicon steel and shot-peened to MIL specifications, this spring delivers maximum fatigue life and long-term durability under extreme valve train loads. A proprietary multi-step heat-treating process minimizes load loss over time, while computer-aided modeling reduces valve bounce and valve gear separation for precise, consistent valve control.
