General Tire GENERAL HS Highway Steer Commercial Truck Tire

The General GENERAL HS is a SmartWay® Verified medium-duty radial steer and all-position tire engineered specifically for long-haul highway applications on commercial trucks and buses. Built on more than a century of General Tire's proven performance heritage, the GENERAL HS delivers a compelling combination of high removal mileage, fuel efficiency, and casing durability that fleets depend on mile after mile.

Key Features:

• Enhanced 5-Rib Tread Pattern: Specially designed tread geometry with a straight groove bottom promotes even, consistent wear across the tire's life for maximum removal mileage.
• Integrated Stone Ejection System: Advanced pyramid-shaped stone ejectors actively prevent stone retention, protecting the casing and maintaining consistent traction throughout service life.
• Low Rolling Resistance Compound: Purpose-engineered rubber compounds minimize rolling resistance to deliver a meaningful boost in fuel efficiency, helping reduce operating costs over the long haul.
• Reinforced Casing with Enhanced Bead-to-Belt Package: A robust casing construction strengthens the tire from bead to belt, maximizing structural durability and retreadability for reduced total cost of ownership.
• SmartWay® Verified: Meets EPA SmartWay standards for fuel efficiency and environmental performance on Class 8 line-haul applications.

The GENERAL HS is the proven foundation of General Tire's commercial highway steer lineup — a reliable, cost-effective solution for fleets seeking dependable performance and extended casing life across a range of commercial truck and bus applications.
