General 05111230000 HS 11R24.5 149/146L H Highway Steer Commercial Truck Tire

The General HS 11R24.5 149/146L Load Range H is a long-haul highway steer position tire engineered for commercial trucks and semi-trailer applications. Designed with a proven tread pattern and upgraded casing platform, the General HS delivers excellent removal mileage, consistent even wear, and low rolling resistance for demanding over-the-road use.

Key Features:

• Five-rib tread pattern with a straight groove bottom design promotes even wear and maximizes removal mileage
• Integrated Stone Ejection System — pyramidal-shaped stone ejectors in the tread grooves prevent stone retention, reducing casing damage and improving retreadability
• Fuel-efficient tread compound formulated to balance wear resistance and low rolling resistance for improved fuel economy
• Enhanced bead-to-belt casing package improves overall durability and maximizes retreadability at end of steer-axle service life
• Wide, flat road-contact footprint delivers optimal traction and grip on highway surfaces
• Tubeless construction — Load Range H, 16-ply rated
• Suitable for steer axle position; also approved for trailing axle and all-position fitment where traction demands are not paramount

The General HS is part of Continental Tire's General Tire commercial lineup, purpose-built for long-haul and highway freight operations. With size 11R24.5, dual load rating 149/146L, and Load Range H (16-ply) construction, this tire is rated for the most demanding Class 8 truck steer applications.
