Product Details

The Supertech Performance SIVN-1016-8 is a high-performance black nitride intake valve set designed specifically for Subaru EJ25 engines. This set includes eight oversized intake valves featuring a 37.00mm head diameter (+1.0mm over stock) and 108.10mm length, providing enhanced airflow and performance over factory valves.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from one-piece forged stainless steel 21-4N for maximum strength and durability
  • Black nitride coating provides superior hardness (800HV minimum) and wear resistance
  • Smoother surface finish than chrome-coated valves reduces friction between stem and guide
  • Single groove valve design for compatibility with OEM and performance valve train components
  • Valve tip hardened beyond 52 HRC for extended service life
  • Application-specific design (not finished from generic blanks) ensures optimal flow characteristics
  • Superfinished stem surface reduces friction and power loss at high RPM

The black nitride hardening treatment is applied to the entire valve surface, not just the stem, providing superior protection against wear from lead-free fuels, alcohol, and high-performance fuel mixtures. With over 30 years of engineering experience, Supertech valves are trusted by engine builders and racers in drag racing, rally, and road racing applications worldwide.
