Supertech Performance NIVN-1017-12 Black Nitrided Intake Valve Set Oversize Nissan - 0.5mm 300ZX VG30DE/VG30DET

Supertech Performance NIVN-1017-12 is a premium black nitrided intake valve set designed specifically for Nissan 300ZX VG30DE and VG30DET engines. This set includes 12 intake valves with a +0.5mm oversize specification, making them ideal for performance engine builds and high-RPM applications.

Key Features:

• Constructed from one-piece forged stainless steel 21-4N alloy for maximum strength and durability
• Black nitride coating provides superior hardness (800HV minimum microhardness) while maintaining good ductility beneath the hard surface layer
• Head diameter: 36.60mm (standard sizing for this oversize application)
• Valve length: 101.32mm
• Single groove design for keeper retention
• Superfinished stem reduces friction and wear for improved performance and longevity
• Special heat treatment process ensures optimal hardness for high-performance racing applications

Supertech valves are manufactured using a precision two-step forging process that maintains excellent material grain flow, followed by multi-step CNC machining to ensure strict dimensional tolerances. The black nitride coating offers a smoother surface finish than traditional chrome-coated valves, resulting in reduced friction between the valve stem and guide. This makes Supertech valves particularly popular for European and Japanese performance engines in drag racing, rally, road racing, and other motorsport disciplines.
