Supertech Performance MIVN-1017-8 Black Nitrided Intake Valve Set for Mitsubishi Evo X 4B11

These high-performance valves are manufactured from one-piece forged stainless steel 21-4N alloy, providing exceptional strength and durability for demanding racing and high-performance street applications.

Key Features:

• Oversized 36.00mm head diameter (+1.0mm over stock) for improved airflow
• Black nitride surface treatment provides superior hardness (800HV minimum) and reduces friction between valve and guide
• One-piece forged stainless steel 21-4N construction for maximum strength
• Single groove design with 5.47mm stem diameter
• Overall length of 113.25mm

The black nitride hardening process applied to the entire valve creates a microhardness layer significantly harder than the base stainless steel material while maintaining excellent ductility beneath the surface. This treatment reduces valve-to-guide friction, increases wear resistance, and enhances overall valve longevity in high-RPM conditions. Ideal for engine builders and tuners seeking competitive performance advantages in road racing, drag racing, or rally applications.
