Supertech Performance MIVN-1012-12 Black Nitrided Intake Valve +1mm Oversize

Supertech Performance MIVN-1012-12 is a high-performance intake valve set designed for Mitsubishi 3000GT and 6G72 engines. These valves feature a +1mm oversize head diameter for increased airflow and enhanced engine performance during head rebuilds and performance upgrades.

Key Specifications:

• Head Diameter: 36.00mm (+1mm oversize)
• Stem Diameter: 6.57mm
• Overall Length: 106.35mm
• Material: One-piece forged stainless steel (EV8/21-4N)
• Coating: Black nitrided surface treatment
• Valve Type: Intake

Performance Features:

• Black nitride coating provides superior surface hardness (800HV minimum) while maintaining ductility beneath the hardened layer
• Smoother surface finish than chrome-coated valves for reduced friction between stem and guide
• One-piece forged construction delivers maximum strength and durability for high-performance applications
• Precision heat-treated to achieve optimal hardness for demanding motorsport use
• Valve tips hardened past 52 HRC for extended service life

Each Supertech valve undergoes rigorous quality control including ultrasonic testing, x-ray inspection, and Finite Element Analysis. The manufacturing process includes precision forging, controlled heat treatment, precision grinding, and Supertech's proprietary superfinishing process to ensure perfect surface quality and optimal performance.

Ideal for engine rebuilds, cylinder head upgrades, and high-performance builds. Recommended to install with new valve springs and valve stem seals for maximum performance gains. Suitable for drag racing, road racing, rally, and other motorsport applications.
