Product Details

Supertech Performance MIVN-1009-8 black nitride intake valves are engineered for Mitsubishi 4G63/4G63T engines found in Evolution and DSM applications. These high-performance valves are manufactured from one-piece forged stainless steel 21-4N for exceptional strength and durability in demanding racing environments.

Key Specifications:

  • Head Diameter: 36.00mm (+2.0mm oversize)
  • Stem Diameter: 6.57mm
  • Length: 109.66mm
  • Material: Stainless Steel 21-4N with black nitride treatment
  • Groove Type: Single groove

Black Nitride Advantage:

  • Hardening treatment applied to entire valve (minimum 800HV microhardness)
  • Smoother surface finish than chrome-plated stems
  • Reduced friction between valve stem and guide for improved performance
  • Maintains ductility beneath the hardened nitrided layer
  • Minimizes power loss from internal engine friction at high RPM

These intake valves are designed for serious motorsport applications including drag racing, rally, and road racing. Complete engine valve replacement requires 8 intake valves and 8 exhaust valves (sold separately).
