Supertech Performance HIVN-1000-8 Black Nitrided Intake Valve Set for Honda B16A/B18C

These high-performance racing valves are manufactured from one-piece forged stainless steel 21-4N material, delivering exceptional strength and durability for both forced induction and high-revving naturally aspirated builds.

Key Specifications:

• Head diameter: 33.00mm (standard size)
• Stem diameter: 5.48mm
• Valve length: 102.5mm
• Dished face design
• Single groove configuration
• Black nitride coating throughout entire valve

Black Nitride Coating Benefits:

• Micro hardness of 800HV minimum—harder than standard stainless steel base material
• Smoother surface finish reduces friction between stem and valve guide
• Enhanced valve seat surface durability with lead-free fuels, alcohol, and high-performance fuel mixtures
• Coating bonded at microscopic level won't flake or break during extreme conditions
• Lower internal engine friction for improved power output at high RPM

Supertech applies over 30 years of valve manufacturing experience combined with cutting-edge technology including ultrasonic testing, x-ray inspection, laser measurement equipment, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure each valve meets rigorous performance standards. Each valve features swirl polishing, stem undercut, and hardened tips for maximum reliability in drag racing, road racing, rally, and other motorsport applications.

Includes eight intake valves. For complete valve train rebuilds, pair with Supertech valve springs and valve stem seals for optimal performance.
