Supertech Performance BMIVN-1030-12 Black Nitrided Intake Valve Set for BMW M50/M52/S50/S52

These high-performance valves are engineered to deliver superior strength, durability, and flow characteristics for both street and racing applications.

Construction and Materials:

• One-piece forged stainless steel construction for maximum strength and reliability
• EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel alloy with specialized heat treatment
• Black nitride hardening treatment for reduced friction and enhanced durability
• Valve dimensions: 33mm head diameter x 5.97mm stem x 106.10mm overall length
• Microhardness rating of 800HV minimum on nitrided surface

Performance Benefits:

• Black nitride coating provides smoother surface finish than chrome, reducing friction between stem and valve guide
• Superior performance at high RPM operation with reduced power loss from internal friction
• Nitrided layer adhered at microscopic level prevents flaking or breaking under stress
• Complete valve coverage with black nitride treatment (unlike chrome which only coats the stem)
• Optimized for high flow rate and durability in performance and racing applications

Supertech Performance combines over 30 years of manufacturing experience with cutting-edge technology to produce premium valve train components. Each valve undergoes intensive testing and quality control to ensure optimal performance in demanding motorsport conditions including drag racing, rally, and road racing.
