Sumitomo 5533152 ST948SE 11R22.5 Commercial Drive Tire

The Sumitomo ST948 SE is Sumitomo's highest mileage and most fuel efficient drive tire, equipped with the latest advancements in S-Tech Design to maximize original tread life and lower rolling resistance. Designed for long-haul operations, this tire is made with SmartWay Verified technology to help commercial fleets reduce operating costs and meet environmental standards.

Key Features:

• Extra-deep 30/32nd tread depth for long mileage
• Stone ejectors positioned in the base of the shoulder grooves to resist stone drilling
• Wide tread blocks minimize tread squirm to lower rolling resistance and promote long, even tread wear
• Significantly wider tread face for consistent retreadability, with wide, solid shoulders that evenly dispense contact pressure
• Micro sipes in the tread blocks provide increased traction
• Deep grooves channel water away from the contact patch to improve safety and grip in wet conditions

A unique combination of superior compounding and deep tread design give the ST948 SE better fuel efficiency, making it an excellent choice for coast-to-coast trucking operations where maximizing uptime and minimizing fuel costs are critical.
