The office for original equipment sales and engineering is located in Allen Park, <span class="caps">MI</span>. <span class="caps">TOKICO</span> aftermarket sales and inventory are located in Rancho Dominguez, <span class="caps">CA</span>. Both shock absorbers and brake hydraulics are sold from this location.</p> <p><span class="caps">TOKICO</span> <span class="caps">LTD</span>., has been manufacturing shock absorbers, brake parts, and other hydraulics for over 50 years. The company has been and continues to be a major original equipment supplier to a variety of auto manufacturers. Responding to auto manufacturers&#8217; demands for a shock that could provide both good stability and good ride quality, <span class="caps">TOKICO</span> developed the twin-tube low-pressure gas shock absorber. <span class="caps">TOKICO</span> began working on this technology in the mid 1970&#8217;s. Since then much of that technology has been adopted world-wide.</p>

Tokico BB3189 Shocks - Illumina Series

For the serious enthusiast, TOKICO offers five-position adjustable Illumina Series shocks and struts. Its sophisticated adjustment system was designed for tuning street suspensions, so you have the ability to set up your cars handling for a variety of driving environments.

Using a screwdriver, a simple click indicates your change to ride or handling balance. So whether youre going to the track, or simply cruising, the Illuminas adjustment range adapts to your needs.

Internally, Illumina uses TOKICOs sophisticated multi-stage, variable-aperture piston and valve system combined with a five-position bypass shutter-valve.

This valve system allows simultaneous rebound and compression damping adjustment.

A shutter-valve detent permits making easy adjustments, so that you can make quick changes and still know which setting youve chosen.
