Safe-Quip was formed in 1987 to build high quality, but affordable, safety equipment in Irmo, South Carolina. Safe-Quip had been owned and operated by Tim Lee since 1995.</p> <p>In 2006, both brands were purchased by Vesta Motorsports <span class="caps">USA</span>, Inc. led by longtime motorsports entrepreneur Patrick Utt. Experience is vital in the racing safety industry, so we&rsquo;ve retained some of the best and brightest people to design, produce, and market our products. The marriage of these two great safety equipment brands provides a wide range of products from entry-level price point items all the way up to our premium products that are made in the <span class="caps">USA</span>.</p> <p>As we go forward we will identified as RaceQuip. Racers worldwide can now look to the RaceQuip name for all their motorsports safety needs. RaceQuip 120025 120 Series Pyrovatex SFI-5 Suits

The Safe-Quip 120 series multi-layer suit is made up of an outer layer of durable Pyrovatex FRC, backed by a layer of Nomex, then lined by another layer of Pyrovatex. Pyrovatex offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability and comfort for the price. This FRC material retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. The treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple. Since the Pyrovatex treatment is absorbed into the cotton fibers, with proper care; the garment will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment.

All Safe-Quip suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. All suits feature a high quality, heavy-duty two-way YKK zipper built on FR tape installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening. Stylish contrasting armband stripes match the full-length leg stripes. The black accents: high-back collar, leg and arm cuffs, epaulets and beltline, give Safe-Quip suits a unique look and style. Add to this the pleated back panel for freedom of movement, boot cuffs, deep bag pockets and the adjustable euro-style belt, and you have a multi-layer suit that provides an outstanding value. Meets or exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 specs with a TPP rating of 25. Available in black with white stripes, or red or blue with black stripes, and stocked in sizes Small 3XL.
