<p>RaceQuip was established in 1975 by John Schneider in Columbus, Ohio. For 32 years RaceQuip has enjoyed a reputation for putting out the best auto racing safety equipment available while building virtually all of its products in the <span class="caps">USA</span>. Safe-Quip was formed in 1987 to build high quality, but affordable, safety equipment in Irmo, South Carolina. Safe-Quip had been owned and operated by Tim Lee since 1995.</p> <p>In 2006, both brands were purchased by Vesta Motorsports <span class="caps">USA</span>, Inc. led by longtime motorsports entrepreneur Patrick Utt. Experience is vital in the racing safety industry, so we&rsquo;ve retained some of the best and brightest people to design, produce, and market our products. The marriage of these two great safety equipment brands provides a wide range of products from entry-level price point items all the way up to our premium products that are made in the <span class="caps">USA</span>.</p> <p>As we go forward we will identified as RaceQuip. Racers worldwide can now look to the RaceQuip name for all their motorsports safety needs. The RaceQuip brand will carry on the tradition of premium materials, designs, and features while also offering products for the budget conscious racer under the Safe-Quip label.</p>

RaceQuip 355025 355 Gloves

Next in the lineup is the 355, a soft double layer Nomex SFI-5 rated glove. The high grip black suede reinforced leather palm gives this glove a unique look and feel from the other gloves in the line. The knuckle pad and palm reinforcements attach to the Nomex back in a way that promotes flexibility. Extra leather has been added between the index finger to the end of the thumb in the high-wear area. The 355 features a standard length gauntlet with an adjustable hook and loop closure on the back to ensure a proper fit. Available in black, red, or blue in sizes XS 3XL.
