Shipping is insane!! Especially on small items that weigh very little.. I priced this same order over at summitracing.com with NO coupons, or discounts. Just their standard free shipping on any order over $100, and it was $172.76 with free shipping. Here the order was $183.50 for the exact same order. It says the items are "in stock" here where Summit has the one bushing set on back-order until May 20th. So I guess I am paying a premium to have the bushing set now, but really this would have been over $200 if I didnt look around on the internet for coupon codes.. Like who does that.. Offer the best price right away, and make sure the shipping prices are fair..
Maybe shipping charges could be smaller if the items in the box werent 10% of the size of the box they ship in. The last item I received was literally about 4x4x4 in size and came in a great big 14x14x12 box.. Like I am paying for this, and although the box weighs nothing dimensional weight is applied.
I fee like I should be reimbursed the difference from the summit racing order i priced..
Overall I got the items I ordered, as ordered, in 4 different shipments.. They came in a fairly quick manner, and I got tracking numbers on all of he packages. The items are new, and exactly what I needed.
Again I can not stress the importance of shipping cost enough. If summit racing wouldn't have had that one item I needed on back order I would have ordered through them. The need to use online coupon codes is ridiculous, and I shouldn't have to look for those to get a fair price on items I need.. In my mind its a sham.. you enter the codes and get what seem to be fair prices, but then shipping takes over and offsets the deals you thought you had..
I would definitely shop around again before placing an order.. This was an OK deal but I really had to work for it.
