Flex-A-Lite 516 Aluminum 2" Fan Spacer

Belt-Driven Fan Spacer; 2 in. Thick; Aluminum; Incl. Standard Bolts;

* Requires a 2 3/4 in. bolt * Intended for 5/8 in. pilot

Belt driven fans work best when they are 3/4 in. to 1 in. from the radiators surface. Whenever you remove an original equipment fan clutch from your engine you need to add a spacer to bring your new fan back into the sweet spot in the fan shroud opening. Multiple spacers may be used up to a maximum of 3 in.

The Flex-a-lite fan spacer is to be used when original equipment fan clutch is removed from the engine, to bring the new fan back into the "sweet spot" in the fan shroud opening. Belt driven fans perform best when they are 3/4" to 1" from the radiator's surface. Multiple spacers may be used, up to a maximum of 3 in.
