Constructed of a multilayer polyester / fiberglass composite material Under Carpet Lite, (UC Lite) offers unmatched thermal and acoustic protection in an extremely flexible light weight package. Only thick, this multi-layer, light weight high tech water proof composite material is able to conform to any number of surface shapes. UC Lite offers maximum thermal insulation solution with a lightweight padding that provides less heat transfer in warm weather while protecting against the transfer of cold air in cold environments. UC Lite is equally effective as a sound deadener that prevents the transfer of noise, including rattles, squeaks and vibrations to ensure a like new driving experience and add longstanding value to a vehicle owners investment.

UC Lite is recommended for use either alone, or as an added barrier with Boom Mat vibration dampening material. It can be installed under carpet, behind door panels, under headliners, on fire walls, or any interior location. To install, simply fasten mechanically to the area, or tack in place with Boom Mats Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive. Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive works well on both vertical and overhead surfaces.
