Product Details

ACL 8B745P-20 TriMetal connecting rod bearing set designed for small block Chevrolet V8 engines including 265ci, 283ci, 302ci, and 327ci small journal applications from 1955-1967. This bearing set features a .50mm (0.020 inch) undersize dimension for reground crankshafts.

Key Features:

  • Copper-lead-tin trimetal construction provides extra durability and load-carrying capacity required by larger and more powerful engines
  • High strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
  • Hardened steel backing on all rod bearings improves support and assists with bearing retention
  • Elimination of flash plating on bearing backs improves heat transfer and maximizes housing grip
  • Increased eccentricity compensates for bore distortion at high RPM
  • Enlarged chamfers accommodate large fillet radius on performance crankshafts

Orbit TriMetal bearings are ideal replacement bearings for street rods, muscle cars, and similar recreational applications. Manufactured in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia by ACL, a company with over 70 years of engine bearing manufacturing experience.

Great Price fast shipping, I can't complain.

So far, so good

Great transaction. The bike rack was about $90 less than a local retailer, and shipping was faster than promised. I wish all internet retailers were this reliable and useful.

It was easy to order and the truck bed extender we bought was the lowest price we could find! However, the shipping charge was higher than what was posted on the comparison sight. Nevertheless, it still came in under the next highest price from a different vendor.

Autoplicity is the best. Always easy, always good prices.

Very fast shipping and price is rite

Fast service, great prices, highly recomended retailer.
