Prothane 7-2048 Impala Convertible Polyurethane Total Bushing Kit 1965-1970

The Prothane 7-2048 is a comprehensive polyurethane suspension bushing kit engineered specifically for 1965–1970 Chevrolet Impala convertibles. This Total Kit replaces virtually every worn rubber bushing and mount on the vehicle in a single purchase, eliminating the need to source individual components separately.

Prothane's polyurethane material is significantly firmer than OEM rubber, delivering measurably improved chassis feedback, tighter handling, and reduced suspension flex. Unlike stock rubber bushings that degrade quickly under heat, oil, and UV exposure, polyurethane maintains its shape and resilience over the long term. Available in red or black.

Kit Includes:

• Body mount bushings with upper and lower halves and replacement washers
• Front and rear control arm bushings (replaces rubber portion and inner sleeve where supplied — original outer metal shells, washers, and spacers must be reused)
• Strut arm bushings
• Front sway bar end links
• Front tie rod and ball joint dust boots
• Transmission mount

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for convertible applications
• Polyurethane construction for superior durability over OEM rubber
• Restores and improves body-to-chassis alignment
• Manufactured in the USA
• Backed by Prothane's lifetime warranty

Important Installation Note: These control arm bushings are designed to replace the rubber portion of the original bushing only. The original outer metal shells, washers, and spacers must be retained and reused during installation.
