Product Details

The Weld Racing Alumastar 2.0 drag racing wheel (88B-514212CP) is a five-spoke forged aluminum wheel in a black finish. It measures 15 x 14 inches, with a 5 x 4.5 in. bolt circle and 6 in. backspacing. Alumastar 2.0 wheels are widely used in drag racing for their style, strength and light weight, and Weld builds them in Kansas City, USA.

Key Features:

  • Five-spoke Alumastar 2.0 design with a forged aluminum center and cold-forged aluminum rim shells
  • Size: 15 x 14 in.
  • Bolt circle: 5 x 4.5 in.
  • Backspacing: 6 in.
  • Black finish. Weld lists this version in black anodized with machined accents.
  • Built to meet or exceed SFI 15.1 specifications
  • Accepts a 5/8 in. wheel stud. Weld recommends a 5/8 in. drive stud or a short-shank mag-style lug.
  • Drag strip use only
  • Center caps not included
  • Valve stems not included

This wheel is made for racers who want a lighter alternative to a cast wheel without giving up the strength needed for strip use. The Alumastar 2.0 is a common choice for sportsman and professional drag racing programs.
